Federico has more than 15 years of experience working in the software industry in a wide range of roles, ranging from academic research to executive managerial positions.
In 1996 he joined LIFIA, a research institution within the National University of La Plata, in the area of Functional Programming and Formal Methods. LIFIA was a pioneer in Object Oriented Programming and Functional Programming in Latin America. As a Senior Consultant he worked for JPMorgan planning and executing the technology migration from Smalltalk to Java for its regional enterprise front and middle office platforms.
In 2003 he joined Lumina Americas, as Project Manager and Sr. Software Architect and led the definition and construction of the enterprise architecture for the CRM, Sales & Distribution platform GAIA for British American Tobacco BAT.
