I am an independently contracted virtual Assitant and transcriptionist. In my VA role, I am tasked with performing tasks such as managing the Directors’ daily program, travel coordinaation, general administrative support as well as some data and research assistance. I also have experience in finance, accounting, and contract negotiation, and financial management.
In my role as a transcriptionist, I am tasked with evaluating and interpreting audio and video dictation, maintaining accuracy, recognizing terminology and discrepancies, researching terms, and properly formatting documents to deliver to clients by established deadlines. I transcribe both verbatim and non verbatim and I have experience in numerous transcription fields i.e. Medical, Legal, Academics, Business, etc. One of my greatest achievements is being promoted from Junior transcriptionist to editor within one month of the start date in two different transcription sites.
