■ Expert knowledge of all aspects of TCP/IP, with developing knowledge of IPv6 and IPv4 to IPv6 Migration strategies. Can implement subnetting / supernetting on Core Routers as well as Qos.
■ Setup of corporate Network Management software: Network instruments Observer, Solarwinds, Orion, Cacti and Nagios, nd Loglogic Security Change Manager and Cisco Netflow observer.
■ Experience in Access Control Lists, Cisco Firewalls, VPN technologies and other security technologies on IOS based firewall and penetration Testing tools: tcpdump, metaexploit and Nessus.
■ Posses Counter-Hacking skills as well security vulnerabilities by conducting application analysis, network analysis, and debugging; report security vulnerabilities and the risks those vulnerabilities present; and recommending mitigating solution to remediate risk associated with vulnerabilities.
■ Solid skills and knowledge in software and hardware troubleshooting.
■ Strong hands on Linux experience with UBUNTU or other RHEL based distributions with through knowledge of Linux Kernel services and tuning; file system ext2, ext3, XFS, NFS, security, installation, networking. Posses strong knowledge and understanding of corporate networking protocols; TCP/IP, DNS, LANs, WANs, VLANs, Wireless, VPN, Firewalls.
