This project was designed as a lead generation tool for the restaurant industry. The goal was to drive 30 to 40 new local customers to a restaurant each month using the unique birthday advertising capabilities on Facebook.
The project successfully accomplishes this month after month.
The platform utilizes a Facebook ad driven to a "reservation" style landing page. The birthday participant signs up for a Birthday Coupon and simultaneously makes a reservation. Reminders are sent out via email and text and the coupon is redeemed on site via the customers mobile device.
A Client Portal was constructed to track coupons in real-time from any type of device.
The core program was built in PHP and utilizes Twilio for the text messaging.
Restaurant experience new client acquisition at just under $20 per customer; typical repeat business is just over 20%.
