As a freelance Java Full Stack Developer, I successfully designed, developed, and deployed an end-to-end Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) for CSC e-Governance Services India Limited, a flagship project enabling seamless bill payments for millions of users across India. Leveraging Java and Spring Boot, I built a scalable microservices architecture using Spring Cloud to ensure fault tolerance, load balancing, and dynamic configuration. Spring Batch streamlined high-volume transaction processing, while Spring Security and JWT-based authentication fortified the platform against cyber threats.

The system integrated Spring AI for intelligent biller categorization and predictive error handling, enhancing user experience. On the frontend, I engineered responsive interfaces with React and Angular, ensuring cross-platform compatibility and real-time payment status updates. Apache Kafka facilitated event-driven communication between services, enabling asynchronous processing of millions of transactions.

Deployed on AWS, the solution utilized EC2, S3, and RDS for scalability, with Docker containerization ensuring consistent environments. Automated CI/CD pipelines accelerated deployments, reducing downtime and ensuring rapid feature rollouts. The platform supports 50+ billers, processes 100K+ daily transactions, and adheres to NPCI’s BBPS compliance standards.
