About Me
Yiannis Tsiarektsis was born in Thessaloniki in 2000s. He holds a Barchelors Degree in Translation after his graduation from the Department of Foreign Languages Translation and Interpreting in 2023 and he is specialised in technical as well as in financial and legal translation. Both English and German are his working languages, with Greek being his mother tongue.
Since Oktober 2023 he has his registered office in Thessaloniki working as a freelance translator and he is collaborating with individual clients, public and private agents as well as with translation agencies.
He is a full member of PEEMPIP Panhellenic Association of Professional Translators Graduates of the Ionian University & IAPTI International Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters.
Until today, he has attended a series of continuous professional development webinars and seminars regarding translation, terminology and post editing.
