About Me

Hello and Welcome! My name is Marguerite Teruggi Page, and I an instructor SNHU for the College of Online and Continuing Education. My background is in Communication Studies and Mass Communication/Media Arts. I have 8 semesters of higher education teaching experience in various communication, public speaking, and media literacy courses, many dealing with multicultural communication perspectives within society. I received my B.A. in Communication: Public Relations and Rhetorical Advocacy, with a concentration in PR & Advertising from Purdue University. I earned my M.A. from Northern Illinois University in Communication Studies: Visual Rhetoric and I am currently working on my PhD in Mass Communication and Media Arts at Southern Illinois University. Along with my academic credentials I have also spent time working professionally as a freelance public relations consultant in the greater Chicago-land area and within a smaller mid-western PR firm.
