Wongani Nyirongo

I am a results driven Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning MEL professional with over five years of hands on experience in data management, health systems strengthening, and program evaluation in Malawi’s public health and social support sectors.

My journey has taken me from frontline health surveillance to high level strategic roles, currently serving as a District Task Team DTT Member in Area 25, Lilongwe. In this role, I provide technical support in case management, targeting, and distribution of Cash Plus financial assistance. I am deeply involved in monitoring interventions to improve impact and equity in health and social programs.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Systems Management from Exploits University and a Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences. In addition, I’ve strengthened my grant management skills through a certificate in Grant Seeking Essentials.
