About Me
I loved drawing with sand ever since I first watched a performance of it on television as a teenager. A couple of years later, I started performing in exhibition openings in Saudi Arabian art shows.
After moving to Ethiopia to pursue my higher education, I did sand-animation work which was shown on television networks like EBS, EBC, and Kana TV.
I also performed in live events organized by Packard Foundation and Fendika Cultural Center. I make short custom sand-animation films for clients as gifts for their loved ones, and to portray stories about their cause in a unique way. As a storyteller, I draw with sand, edit the videos, write essays and create graphic designs to tell whatever tale I need to tell.
