Wilson Okaka

Prof.Wilson Truman Okaka is a Lecturer with a focus on Research Methods and Communication at Kyambogo University, Kampala, Uganda. He is a Ugandan Research and communication professional with interests in climate change and gender equality policy advocacy. He was trained in Uganda, UK, Italy, Sweden, and the USA and presented hundreds of papers, published books, chapters, articles, edited peer-reviewed journals, and reviewed for journals. Dr. Okaka was a VSO international volunteer in Asia, The World Bank short term consultant, SIDA/SAREC, VICRES, AICAD, and JICA researcher. Prof. Okaka taught Georgetown University's special TOEFL course at African Virtual University Kyambogo Campus. He was recognized by UNECA - ACPC and listed among current top African Climate Change Experts. He is now crafting a network called Gender Equality and Climate Change Advocacy. He is a mentor and supervisor of all levels of academic career development from undergraduate, master, and Ph.D. students.
