About Me
I hold a Bachelor’s of Commerce degree in Finance and am a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya ICPAK in good standing. In my current role at the National Treasury, I am involved in budget preparation and execution, financial reporting, vote book management, IFMIS operations, audit coordination, and ensuring compliance with the Public Finance Management PFM Act, and Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act.
Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in managing public funds, monitoring development and recurrent expenditures, preparing periodic and annual financial statements, and strengthening internal controls to enhance accountability and value for money. I have also supported donor funded and development projects, liaised with internal and external auditors, and provided technical guidance and supervision to junior PFM officers.
I have experience teaching and mentoring students in professional accounting units.
