I am Venkat P S,did M.Tech from IIT Roorkee, India in the year 2008-2010 with specialization Production engineering and completed my master thesis on “Finite Element Simulations of New Severe Plastic Deformation (SPD) Process “under the guidance of Prof Groche, at TU Darmstadt, Germany through DAAD Scholarship program.

I have published various Research Publications namely – “Prediction of Forces in A New Severe Plastic Deformation (SPD) Process”, ECAS A New Technique to Produce Ultra Fine Grained Materials and Prediction of Forces in A New Severe Plastic Deformation Process”. Two of my Publications namely - FE Simulation of Loads on Equal Channel Angular Swaging Process” and Clutch Stacked Shift Temperature Estimation using a Lumped Parameter Model” are in process to be published. I have received Silver Medal for being the Second Topper in Graduation.

Currently I am working with General Motors as a Senior Engineer with 4 years of experience. I have gained experience in developing tools/methods for Design and Engineering of engine and transmission components. Also received a record of invention/patent for the tool called “Engine Oil Flow (Pump Sizing Tool)”.My job background includes Automating design and analysis procedures using MS excel and Matlab and Performing CAE (Stress, 1-D tool) Analysis. I have knowledge in resolving technical issues related to CATIA.I am Proficient in C#, C++, JAVA, VB, Qt classes coding and simulation software’s like Amesim, Abaqus and Matlab.

My strength lies in changing complex situations to easily resolvable. I am keen in learning new technical skills which will help me reach greater heights in my career.
