Vanessa Savoldi

My name is Vanessa Savoldi, I am a 29 year old Italian with a Master’s degree in European and Non European Languages and Literatures from the University of Milan, completed in 2021 with full marks. For my thesis, I translated medieval English texts into modern Italian, focusing on the Bestiary from manuscript BL Arundel 292. I have studied various translation techniques, including postcolonial approaches, and attended a workshop at the Florence School of Publishing. Although new to formal proofreading, I have practical experience translating website content for 3Bee, German Italian, and creating bilingual materials for Hessisch Oldendorf, where I am volunteering through the European Solidarity Corps. My tasks include working at the Stadthaus and writing promotional texts for local events. I also authored training materials for Outlier AI, but I prefer working directly with people. With over seven years of teaching experience, I focus on pronunciation and linguistic accuracy.
