Vanessa Luo

I am currently a third year Computer Science in Interactive Media and Game development IMGD student. I have always been interested in design related area such as drawing, editing photos/videos etc and also been a fan of playing video games. Thus, the interest in joining this course. Here, I was able to learn skills such as programming and level design and also soft skills such as leadership, patience and teamwork.

In my course, we have software engineering projects where we are required to build our own custom game engine and create our own game. From this, I was given the chance to lead a few teams as a product manager, which really allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and learn leadership and communication skills.

During my free time, I love to draw as a hobby and have been trying to slowly explore and improve this hobby of mine.
