I am a journalist trained at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication IIMC, New Delhi, with a focused beat in labour rights, migration, and social policy. My work sits at the intersection of field research and long form writing — I dont just analyse policy on paper, Ive spent time on the ground in migration corridors, inside construction workers unions, and at social security camps where the gap between what the law promises and what workers actually receive becomes very concrete.
My published work includes pieces in The India Forum and Feminism in India — both editorially rigorous platforms — on the structural exclusion of construction workers from welfare systems and the gendered dimensions of informal labour. Before that, I worked as a trainee journalist at Zee English Digital, publishing 14–15 articles daily under tight newsroom deadlines. That combination — field immersion, policy fluency, and high volume editorial discipline — is what I bring to freelance work.
