Amilcar Aristides Monteiro

Amílcar Aristides Monteiro is the former Director General for Industry and Trade in Cabo Verde. He completed his BA in Business Administration in 2001, at the Federal University of Viçosa/Brazil and obtained a MSc in Management of Information Technology in 2012 from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts/USA. During the past 17 years, Amílcar has been strongly engaged with strategic analysis within the realms of small business development and entrepreneurship in Cabo Verde. Currently, as an independent Consultant, he has been involved in several assignments related to sectoral, institutional and legal framework analysis and other consulting activities, acting as a technical facilitator to assist organizations such as international cooperation entities, Business Associations, Ministries and private companies.
