Dr. Albin John P Paul Winston

Over the past five years at Loyola College, University of Madras, I have served as Research Scholar, Assistant Professor, Research Associate, and currently Scientist in the Departments of Physics and Chemistry. My interdisciplinary research spans synthesis of carbon allotropes and transition metal oxides, energy storage systems, photovoltaic devices, and water remediation, with a focus on economically viable, scalable designs. As a Research Scholar I developed expertise in top down and bottom up nanomaterial synthesis, precision characterization, grant writing, and scientific communication. I coordinated projects, fostered interdisciplinary collaborations, and as Assistant Professor refined my ability to teach complex concepts to diverse learners. As Research Associate I led synthesis planning and optimization for performance and cost. Now as Scientist I design innovative, sequential synthesis methodologies aimed at integrating lab scale processes into real world applications.
