About Me
I love languages and linguistics and can work with English, Portuguese, and Catalan at a professional level, while Spanish and Galician are my native languages.
After completing my degree in Translation and Interpreting in 2002, I worked at a Barcelona based translation company for three years. In 2006, I decided to start working as a freelance translator, copywriter, and linguist. I firmly believe continuous training is crucial to my job, so I have always combined work and studies. I got a degree in Linguistics and a DESS in Assisted Translation and I have also studied postgraduate courses on different topics, specifically a Postgraduate Course in African Societies and a Postgraduate Course in International Business and Marketing. Beyond that, I have taken courses on Creative Writing, Copywriting, and Professional Reading, as well as a Marketing Translation course, a Medical Translation training program, and a course on Audio visual Translation.
