About Me
I am a Bioinformatics Scientist with over 6 years of experience in Genomics Data analysis, Python and R programming, Shell scripting and Linux environment, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Pipeline development, with a strong Biology background supplemented with commendable computer science skills.
I have worked with a wide range of data starting from RNASeq and transcriptomics for gene expression profiling, Variant calling and interpretations, Genome assembling and annotations, ChipSeq, and Long read data. My greatest passion lies in Cancer Biology research with special interests in epigenetics and the application of Machine learning; but also with experience in Antimicrobial resistance and HIV.
On top of the Bioinformatics skills, I do have excellent interpersonal communication skills with a track record of leadership, management and implementation skills, coupled with time management and quick adaptation to new challenges or environment.
