About Me

I am a veterinarian working with a pastoral community in Kotido district, in the North Eastern Karamoja region of Uganda.

Before working as a veterinarian, I lived virtually my entire life in Entebbe and briefly n Uganda's capital Kampala.

These two sharply contrasting living experiences, in addition to my natural curiosity have given me a particularly unique perspective on life in general and particularly on people, lifestyle, culture, travel, arts and literature, media, pastoral veterinary practice, livestock production systems, gender, humanitarianism, community development, and aid.

I aim to tell stories that are not only thoughtful but also impactful; opening previously closed off parts of the world to others and demystifying my part of the world to open it up to others to come and have a taste of its untouched and deeply flavored culture.
