About Me
Ana Lucía Pérez Escobar was born on January 30 of 1984, in Medellín, Colombia. Since she was a young girl she fell in love with writing, winning the first place in the first poetry contest she participated in when she was eight years old. Even though she studied Environmental Engineering in the University of Medellín and Master in Coastal Management in the University of Cádiz Spain, she decided to dedicate herself to write mostly poetry, narratives, short stories and essays. She worked as a writer for a digital magazine, nowadays she keeps writing as a freelancer and writing in this blog and because she won an open call by Fallidos Editores, in December 2019 she publishes her first book, “Una fiesta y un secreto”, which can be purchased in independent libraries across Colombia or directly with the writer.
