About Me
Dr. Badima Belay is an assistant professor at the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature and a senior editor at Addis Ababa University Press. Starting his career fifteen years ago as an English language teacher, he spent years working as freelance language editor and eventually worked his way up to senior managing editor. His work has been featured in all kinds of academic publications distributed nationally and internationally. He is also a freelance translator in the Amharic-English language combinations. He is interested in language education and language policy research. Dr. Badima earned his PhD and MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Addis Ababa University.
