NAVAS M KHADAR

I amNavas M. Khadar, a social scientist and policy researcher specializing in migration, livelihoods, and human rights. With a decade of academic and field experience, I have worked extensively on issues affecting interstate migrant workers in India, focusing on inclusive governance, social protection, and healthcare access.

I hold an M.A., M.Phil. in International Relations and Politics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. My doctoral research examined the human rights dimensions of interstate migrant labor in Kerala’s plywood industry. Over the years, I have collaborated with multiple national and international organizations — including WHO, ILO, IOM, UNDP, and the World Bank — contributing to advocacy, policy analysis, and program evaluation.
