Vivencio Acuña

My skill in writing was honed by my love for reading, at my age, I have read thousands of books newspapers, magazines, scientific journals, CIA reports, internet posts and even product labels when I cant find anything worthy of reading. Thank God, I retained most of what I have read, seen, watched, heard or observed. My first job was with the Summer Institute of Linguistics in Baguio city, next I trained as a Radio Field Reporter with the Philippine Broadcasting Service under the Office of the President. In 1992 I was contracted by the Ayala
Foundation, Inc. and the German Development Service DED to document their developmental activities for the benefit victims of the Mount Pinatubo eruption who were relocated to the island province of Mindoro. Consequently I added more
experience in writing by working as; news writer, correspondent, editorial Assistant, special project, Assistant, associate editor, field reporter, Editor in
Chief, Media Advisor, Freelance writer/editor.
