Hello, I’m Tikani Morris, a mining engineer with more than 3 years of experience in the field. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Taita Taveta University.

My professional background includes involvement in various projects, from large scale open pit mining operations to underground mining endeavors. My areas of expertise include mine design, project management, and environmental sustainability. I have a solid foundation in utilizing advanced mining software such as AutoCAD, Surpac, and Datamine to design and plan effective mining operations.I played a key role in a project that raised the iron ore production extraction efficiency at Kishushe Taita Taveta by 20% by revamping the pit layout and introducing new drilling and blasting methods. Furthermore, I am dedicated to ensuring that mining operations are carried out in an environmentally sustainable manner, and I have taken the lead in efforts to minimize environmental impact and restore mining sites.
