About Me
I am an experienced technical writer.
I have a history of producing high-quality technical work including the documentation of a major Australian telecommunications company's systems' APIs, the complete documentation of a major bank's bond trading IT systems, and the production of MIL-SPEC compliant documentation for an artillery control system.
For two years I was a C++ programmer producing ERP sub-programs and for one year I developed assembly and embedded C code. I am comfortable with Java and with any kind of database work. I use Perl every day and have used Linux Debian daily since[removed]I quickly learn and enjoy new technologies. My university qualifications are in electronics, chemistry and commerce.
As an editor I have my own small business correcting, simplifying and beautifying technical, commercial and political documents. I edit nearly every sentence in thousands and thousands of technical documents, all self-managed.
