Steinar Jonsson

Steinar grew up in a small town in North Iceland, Akureyri. Steinar studied Information Technology & Multimedia
Studies in Reykjavík Technical College, Iceland’s capital for three years before relocating to Barcelona where he graduated with a Degree in Advertising & Art Direction from Istituto Europeo di Design Barcelona.
Working as a creative Director with Nectar Agency in Barcelona for two years before moving to Ireland to set up a creative agency (Gudwrk Agency) dealing with Branding, Commercials, Film Packaging, Transmedia, Mobile Applications and Web Development. Steinar has vast experience working as a creative, having packaged and marketed films through different platforms in development stages to Marketing and Distribution (Film360), web, poster, film investment presentations, online, social media presence. Founder and director of Silk Road Film Festival and works with Cardel Entertainment in implementing the design of packages and marketing tools for film.
