Sourima Rana

A 24 year old with a B.A. & M.A. in English Literature from St. Xaviers College, Kolkata, Im passionate about writing and music! An aspiring poetess, Ive been published in domestic and international poetry magazines like The Write Order and Quill House, Gabby & Min publications, the Gyroscope Review, Bottled Dreams Literary and Behind the Mask Literary Journals. My poem Love Letter is forthcoming in the 16th Yearbook of the Katherine Mansfield Society Edinburgh Press University, in late 2024.

Having completed a course in Editing and Publishing from Jadavpur University, I contribute articles to The Collector art, history, philosophy online forum and book reviews to the Purple Pencil Project. An avid reader, Im interested in decoding paintings and films, and finding the psychological underpinnings of human behaviour and its representation in literature. My areas of special interest include Romantic poetry, popular culture genres like the Gothic and detective fiction.
