Shaun Adams

I am a Namibian transgender, development practitioner and communications professional working with Queer Pulse, where I focus on advocacy, community engagement, and development communication. My work centers on promoting human rights, sexual and reproductive health, gender equality, and LGBTQIA+ inclusion in Namibia. Through digital storytelling, research informed blog writing, and public awareness campaigns, I highlight social issues affecting marginalized communities, including gender based violence, youth empowerment, and access to health services. I use media and community dialogue to connect grassroots experiences with broader policy conversations, contributing to more inclusive development outcomes. My work also amplifies underrepresented voices and encourages public engagement around social justice and equality. Through partnerships and advocacy initiatives, I produce content that informs, educates, and mobilizes communities toward positive social change in Namibia.
