Shashi Shekhar

I have extensive experience in GIS and remote sensing applications. I hold a Master of Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture and a Master’s in Geography from Jawaharlal Nehru University and has over two decades of professional experience working in environmental planning, pollution assessment, and geospatial analysis across organizations like HPSPCB and AGiSAC. My work includes leading environmental planning initiatives, developing GIS based applications, conducting pollution assessments, and coordinating major studies such as carrying capacity analysis of key tourist locations. I have also contributed significantly to research with numerous national and international publications and has actively participated in training, awareness programs, and professional associations in the field of environmental planning. I have over two decades of extensive experience working with GIS software such as ArcGIS, ERDAS, QGIS, Photoshop, and Google Earth Engine tec.
