Sharon Omenda

I have a background in medical training and am passionate about research with a rich background implementing research and interventional for over three years. I’m currently in the field of clinical trials and I’m coordinating two vaccine trials in Kilifi, Kenya. I have a background in coordination and resource mobilization in research. I was the study lead in the first COVID 19 Self testing implementation research in Kenya funded by FIND International,2021.
Awarded Best in Pediatrics and Child Health,2018 by the University of Nairobi and a beneficiary of the Hillman Academic Fund. I’m experienced in guiding teams to derive research ideas from program data.
I’m Skilled in principles of good clinical practice in research, trained in fundamentals of research ethics, I have experience in development of data collection tools and experience in electronic data collection as well as clinical and research report writing. I have a background in conducting data quality audits.
