Most of my working experience is in the establishment, maintenance and implementation of quality management systems. I worked at Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards TTBS for about 7 years where I gained most of my auditing experience as an external quality management systems auditor. I audited organizations in the energy, construction and chemical sectors of Trinidad and Tobago. Whilst at TTBS, I also managed the product certification programme and assisted in the management of the certification department. Thereafter, I also conducted research for 3 years at UWI on quality culture. The title of the thesis being “The Effect of Quality Culture Maturity: A Study of Trinidad and Tobago's Manufacturing Organisations”. This research involved a sample of manufacturing organizations in Trinidad through interviews and surveys. I published many papers based on this research.
