My job title if somebody was to ask me? I would say am a creative. I was diagnosed with a neurological disorder of the brain when I was in nine years old. A trauma that cost me loss of concentration in class. My situation led me to live a secluded life from most of my peers and the only thing that could sober me up was reading magazines, storybooks and watching TV. It was my escape from being looked as different, as most of the time my state of mind was questioned. The love for reading and watching TV led me to having a wild imagination on almost everything in life. I started writing poetry in high school to wade off boredom after I was diagnosed with asthma, which kept me from playing my favourite sport of basketball. Writing to me was a love that I had in me since primary school where I did well in my essays. Seven years ago I wrote my first script or what I thought was a script, pitched it to Robby Bresson who is one of my mentors and my journey in writing started. Am now a writer .
