About Me
My name is Ms Rosemary Olive Mbone Enie. I am a Cameroonian Geologist and Gender Ambassador for the Gender and Water Alliance (GWA). I have over 23 years experience working in the African water, sanitation, hygiene, environmental management and education sector, 18 years on Gender and Development and 14 years following the international climate change negotiations. I am the founder / Executive Director of the Women Environment and Climate Action Network (WECAN) and also serve as one of the five council members of the Global Ecovillage Network (GEN) Africa. In March 2014 I was nominated as an exceptional woman from Africa to represent Africa at the Africa Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) International Women's Day celebration in Brussels under the European Union. I am a team leader and builder. I love making friends and meeting new people. I am also a community and people transformer working to build resilient communities across Africa and the Commonwealth.
