About Me
My name is Rita.
I hold a Bachelors Degree in East Asian Studies from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona UAB, where I specialized in East Asian Economics, Politics, Society, and the Japanese language. Currently, I am in the final stages of completing my Masters Degree in Translation and Technologies at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya UOC. During my masters program, I acquired essential skills in localization and audiovisual translation and became proficient in various Computer Assisted Translation CAT tools such as Trados, Soluling, OmegaT, and Virtaal, being the last two free open sources.
My native languages are Spanish and Catalan, and I hold the English First Certificate B2. I am currently pursuing the Advanced Level C1 in English. Additionally, I have studied Japanese and Korean, which reflects my dedication to learning and mastering languages.
