I began my professional journey with a 3 month tenure in an NBFC, where I was exposed to the fundamentals of financial services. I also worked on basic credit analysis. I developed an understanding of financial products, compliance requirements, and risk assessment procedures. This role helped me build a strong foundation in financial discipline and client handling.
Following that, I worked for 4 months in a Chartered Accountant CA firm, where I gained hands on assisting in bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and supporting statutory. I also worked on GST returns, income tax computations, and compliance related task.
I took on a more advanced role as a Senior Accountant for 4 months in the export diamond industry. In this position, I handled end to end accounting operations, including ledger management, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. I was also involved in export related documentation, foreign transactions, and compliance with international regulation.
