Accounting is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organization's operations by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
I started a career in Accounting as an intern with the Nairobi City Council in the then Water Department where I gathered experience on book keeping, journal entries, audit data analysis and audit report writing. I later joined the Salaries section as an Account Assistant and then promoted to the Senior Accountant. I gained vast knowledge in Computerized Accounting. Currently I am working with Lotec Exporters Ltd as the Business Development Manger
I hold academic and professional qualifications including a CPA 2 K and I am now pursuing a degree in Horticulture Marketing. I have in the past attended several training's and courses on Crop Management, Good Agricultural Practices and Food Safety.
