About Me
My name is Laika A. Ocampo, currently a second year student pursuing a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English. I have gained valuable insights about pedagogy, teaching strategies and classroom management throughout my studies. I also actively participate in extracurricular activities that have helped sharpen my abilities in communication and in teaching such as seminars, symposiums, workshops and even in hosting school wide events.
Additionally, I have taken part in some tutoring and guidance activities that have allowed me to guide my fellow students into improving their confidence and English speaking abilities. This has also helped in my flexibility in teaching a diverse set of cultures and people. I’m most excited about the opportunity to put my practice and learnings into action. I’m enthusiastic, resilient and hardworking who is always ready to learn.
