I have worked on several political campaigns, and in a couple of executive positions in the central administration such as advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and in the local government as a deputy Mayor of Mladost, one of Sofia's largest and most populated districts.
In the private sector I have my own company which provides services in the automobile industry, mainly dealing with EU safety and vehicle regulations and compliance. And as a added bonus, I own a hotel in Bulgaria's biggest ski resort. The hotel business is one of the most heavily regulated businesses in Bulgaria, being under the constant scrutiny and surprise inspections by many different independent government and local administrations - Municipality, Revenue agency, Food and Health administration, Employment Agency, Fire department, Police and immigration authorities. And this is even before you open for business.
