Muthoni “Noni” Maingi is a strategic communications and media relations leader with a 15‑year track record of turning bold ideas into funded, headline‑making campaigns. She has led high‑stakes communications across international development, human rights, and technology, partnering with organisations such as UNAIDS, Oxfam, Change.org, Safaricom, and Chayn. As Founding National Coordinator of End Femicide KE, she designed a national media strategy that put femicide on Kenya’s political agenda, generating over 2M USD in earned media and securing coverage in outlets including The New York Times, BBC, CNN, Al Jazeera, The Guardian, and The Economist. She led crisis communications for Oxfam’s global sexual misconduct scandal, helping stabilise public trust across 90+ countries. On the fundraising front, Noni has secured more than 3M USD in multi‑year funding and stewarded over 800,000 USD in movement funding. She now supports mission‑driven organisations as a freelance consultant.
