Alessio Moiso

I'm an Italian student currently attending IT at the University of Genoa. I have always loved the computer and everything that goes around it: developing applications, designing UI, building websites, and so on.

At the age of 9, I was already working on a small calculator, written in Basic. Then, in less than a year, I switched to AppleScript and, soon after, to AppleScript Studio.

In 2006, my father founded a small software company and we started with a brand new website after a few months. That was my first experience with HTML and CSS. Then I worked on some applications, in AppleScript Studio.

Getting on in years, I have continued to help my father with his company, by learning Objective-C, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, C# and, recently, Swift. For academic purposes, I have also learnt Java, Python, C and C++.

I have also worked for a company called Ermit, located in Genoa, to help them in making an application on iOS to locate the nearest automatic defibrillator in my region.
