I am a 32 year-old award winning business journalist with over seven years experience in communications, media and public relations. Over the last one year I have been consulting with various companies and projects related to housing, general economics and media relations. My most recent formal posting was at Deloitte East Africa where I was Senior-Media, Public Relations and Communications.

At Deloitte, I was the team leader of a group of five based in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Ethiopia charged with coordinating and executing communication, media and publicity strategies and campaigns mainstream and digital media for the firm.

I started at Business Daily Nation Media Group where I specialized in reporting on matters real estate. At Business Daily, I was part of the team that won the Diageo Africa Business Media of the year in 1998.

I have served as a senior business journalist and columnist at Standard Group Limited. At Standard, I was a finalist for the prestigious
