About Me
In my current role as an assistant professor at Wachemo University, I have designed and facilitated many capacity building workshops for pre service and in service teachers, focusing on learner centred design, formative assessment, and contextualized curriculum development. Three regional teacher training colleges adopted these initiatives as part of their core professional development offerings.
My PhD research—“Exploring the Impact of Post Method Pedagogy on Pre service Teacher Development and Teaching Practices”—allowed me to innovate reflective practice modules that empower teacher autonomy in linguistically diverse classrooms. This direct experience in curriculum innovation and assessment design maps closely to OSC’s requirement for creating diagnostic tools and disseminating best pedagogical practices.
