Mohit Agarwal

As a student at BITS Pilani, I acquired a Post-graduate degree in Software Systems. The academic curriculum included courses like Data Mining, Information Retrieval, Cloud Computing and Data Warehousing, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design. I have learnt about deep learning, neural networks, text mining, distributed computing using Hadoop and Apache Spark, design patterns, etc.

Currently, I am a Software Developer Intern at Samsung R&D Institute, Bangalore. I am working with the Networks team on a project related to Software Defined Networks. I am working on deploying Virtual Network Functions on an ONAP set up.

I am a Machine Learning enthusiast. During my college, I have worked on projects related to Text Mining, Network analysis and others. I have also worked on Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs), Deep Packet Inspection and some cloud technologies like Eucalyptus, KVM, OpenStack, etc.
