Mira Petrou

Hello, my name is Mira. Here is a short story about myself. I am of Cypriot Greek Origin, born in Zimbabwe. I have lived in Botswana, New Zealand and am presently living in South Africa. I am married and have two sons with whom l I have spent many hours reading and speaking the English Language to, in a fun loving way. I have Cambridge British School qualifications. By profession, I am a qualified Nurse and I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Degree in Criminology. For the past five years I have voluntarily assisted children with their homework, speeches, and school work especially during the Lockdown period. During exams, I have read to Remedial students, by reading the exam questions to them and writing their answers, verbatim, as the students spoke. I have been assisting in a family business from 2007 to present, whereby I have been working with salaries, marketing and staff. I have obtained my TESOL certificate in 2020 and look forward to assisting people.
