Miguel Bettencourt

I was born in Porto in 1993 and raised in S.Miguel island Azores, 6 years ago I left Ponta Delgada to have academic formation in Arts Graduation in Visual Arts-Multimedia, Painting Specialization, concluded in 2014 in Universidade de Évora, having then opted, without hesitation, for a masters in Animation Masters in Sound and Image, Specialization in Computer Animation by the School of Arts of Universidade Católica do Porto, concluded in 2016.
After this sequence of years dedicated to my academic formation, I did an internship in the animation studio Bando á Parte.
After the internship I did freelance work for the Music Conservatorium of Lisbon and Mafra, in this project I worked as an animator, story boarder, and character designer in a series called Camila.
After the Conservatorium project I did one more freelance work for a village in Portugal called Chamusca, where I worked as an animator, story boarder and editor in a video-clip of a song promoting the village.
