Mickey Wang

I’m a Senior Applied AI Engineer who enjoys turning complex ideas into practical systems that people can actually use. My background is in software engineering, and over the past decade I’ve worked on building scalable web applications, backend systems, and cloud infrastructure. Through that journey, I gradually became more interested in how intelligent systems could enhance real products and help solve real world problems. What excites me most about AI is not the theory alone, but the moment when a model becomes part of a real system and begins to create value. I enjoy working across the entire lifecycle of an AI product—understanding the problem, preparing the data, building and evaluating models, and integrating them into production environments where they can support decisions, automate workflows, or reveal patterns that were previously difficult to see. Much of my work focuses on applied AI: using machine learning and large language models to build practical tools.
