About Me
With two degrees in linguistics, theoretical and applied, I began my career teaching English as a foreign language, and therefore know English inside and out. Along the way I have tackled several editing projects, and shifted more toward full time editing in recent years.
Thus, for the past two years, I have been working at a major international news agency as a content editor and style guide, and working part time at a smaller news outlet in the Republic of Georgia. I am also editing several books at the moment for private clients, as well as writing my own.
My personal style is a blend of conservative based on Fowlers classic Modern English Usage, American usage, and common sense. I can of course adhere to British usage, AP, Chicago, or any other school of thought as required, and am capable of virtually any style in the language, from Elizabethan to modern slang dialogue.
