Recently, I have become a transcriber and captioner for Rev.com maintaining metrics above the required 4.5 threshold.

I obtained my B.A Honours degree in Interpreting and Translation from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2015.

Since graduating I have worked on numerous projects for various companies and institutions.

Here is a breakdown of my experience.

Simultaneous and consecutive interpreter for conferences and smaller functions. Specializing in Afrikaans and English interpretation.
Experience includes: Interpreting for Tshwane Municipality's disciplinary hearings as well as the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, City of Johannesburg and Ekurhuleni Metropolitan municipalities.

Translation.
I have worked for multiple agencies on an array of projects.
Type of projects: Educational material, medical brochures, legal documents and general documents.
