About Me

Marissa is a facilitator of language, and an avid reader and researcher. She has a GA Level 3 TEFL Certificate and 2 years of teaching experience. She completed her BA Language & Culture degree at Stellenbosch University, majoring in Linguistics, Theatre Studies and Sign Language Linguistics. Interests that excite her most include literature, linguistics, theatre, fermentation, holistic health, sustainability and agriculture, human behaviour and animals.

She is a highly dedicated person with an empathetic demeanour. She applies herself to the environment at hand and is flexible. She displays a strong belief in the importance of details in her professional work, her teaching approach, and her writing. She also cultivates the value of compassion and values community.
